Menu Rubric

Page history last edited by Karla Downs 13 years, 8 months ago

You are to create a menu for your own restaurant. You must create the menu using at least 15 different items. You may choose from appetizers, entree`s (main dishes), and desserts. [sorry, no beverages allowed] You may add prices, although they are not necessary and I will not count them for or against you. The main objective is that you use a variety of cooking methods, CREATIVE and DESCRIPTIVE wording. Remember, I do NOT want any thing that is Sugar Free. You need to think about the way you choose cuts of meat, types of items that are naturally healthy and be able to describe each item in detail so that I will want to order this particular food. The following example cannot be used:

Fettuccini Alfredo- This entree will leave you satisfied without you feeling fat. We start out using a 3 oz. portion of a boneless, skinless chicken breast that is grilled to perfection. This delicious cut of meat is topped with whole grain fettuccini pasta and drizzled with a rich, but low-fat, cream sauce and topped with freshly grated parmesan and chopped parsley.
