Quick Breads

You will need to to answer BOTH quick breads and yeast breads, so be sure to copy and paste them both and add them BOTH to YOUR page. Both bread responses are due by Monday May 7th by  3 pm. NO late responses will be accepted!!!

 

Quick breads are named because they can be made quickly (compared to yeast breads). We were lucky to make 5 different quick breads during our lab. Please change the color or your answers.

1. Name 2 different leavening agents that can be used in a quick bread. 

2. Tell me what the functions of eggs are in a quick bread. 

3. Of the 5 different quick breads that we made (cream puffs, pumpkin bread, cake doughnuts, and cheddar bacon muffins, cinnamon streusel coffee cake) which one did you like the best? Why? 

4. Which one would you be most likely to try to make at home? why?
